Im thinking beach

Haven't painted a girly in a while so here's one. I was thinking about the beach because well its starting to get cold and a nice warm beach would be perfect right about now. Well anyway I also included the original pencil drawing, its just a quick sketch done in one of my sketchbooks did the rest in Photoshop.

Heres a couple of grey scale sketches i did. Just working with values...need the practice and also a few head sketches i decided to keep the pencil sketch lines on top it just looked better to me for some reason.

okay so i just got done listening to the chiu stream and it was awsome. Got me pumped and all that good stuff. The topic tonite was a re-design of Sid from ice age and heres the one i did. I was a tough one a lot of good one didn't win but its all good cuz i got some votes and im excited about that......

This painting I told my self I gonna finish it even if i stay up all night. It started as a little sketch that just sat there for a while..so i told my self im finishing this...of course it would be almost mid-night when I told myself this but I did it anyway and It was finished last night at 3-a.m.

Here's a new painting I just finished. I used an old sketch that i posted a while ago, I just dug it up from the basement so to speak and decided to paint it.

InkSetches

I got some prisma color pens and markers just testing them out. I wanted a bit of a comic book look. I have some others I did but I'm not done scanning them in just yet I'll post them up later.

This one i did all digital. I dont normally do caricatures but it was a good first attempt i think. A lot of things to keep in mind. The hair was a pain in the butt, just one of those things i have to keep practicing....could probably also get better reference as well.

I was riding the bart and I had my trusty sketchbook with me and i saw this dude on the bart i just had to sketch him. He was a pretty big guy i only exaggerated it a bit to make him kind of cartoony anyways enjoy...
