Baby Wink

Here's a baby wink I did while listening to the Chiu-Stream!! the topic was a baby version of a movie character. Well obviously the top image is not what I got done in the hour we had to finish but the bottom was what I had done in that time of course most of the time was spent deciding what character to do. Then I decided to add a lot more detail.

Some Sketches

Here's a digital sketch done in Photoshop today....started off in black and white then added color trying to get better at adding color from black and white. I think it came out pretty good of course that is compared to some of my other attempts.....enjoy

and down here are some more pencil and marker sketches well just the ones i liked sort of they are all pretty rough but was fun to do...I must say I was inspired by Nicolas Marlet, all though these do not compare....

Here are some quick Pencil and Marker sketches. I did last night pretty fun bringing out the old markers and color pencils. They were just collecting dust since I've mostly been using photoshop to do everything and the trusty old No.2 in my sketchbook.

Im thinking beach

Haven't painted a girly in a while so here's one. I was thinking about the beach because well its starting to get cold and a nice warm beach would be perfect right about now. Well anyway I also included the original pencil drawing, its just a quick sketch done in one of my sketchbooks did the rest in Photoshop.

Heres a couple of grey scale sketches i did. Just working with values...need the practice and also a few head sketches i decided to keep the pencil sketch lines on top it just looked better to me for some reason.

Chiu-Stream topic

okay so i just got done listening to the chiu stream and it was awsome. Got me pumped and all that good stuff. The topic tonite was a re-design of Sid from ice age and heres the one i did. I was a tough one a lot of good one didn't win but its all good cuz i got some votes and im excited about that......

Okay those a couple of weeks ago I saw this topics on one of those sketch jams. However I noticed it too late and wouldn't of had time to join the jam, but I liked the topic and decided to do it anyway. Well maybe I get to join another sketch jam with a cool topic there are so many out there.
